A new beach formed by the sea that will amaze residents and tourists alike, located on the same shores as the picturesque “El Batey” neighborhood, which was founded in 1938 by 500 Jewish immigrants persecuted for anti-Semitic intolerance Established, they were welcomed by the then Dominican government.

The entire area where Alicia beach is now was used by Jewish residents as a waste dump for an animal slaughterhouse that operated nearby. Then only the cliff of rocks and waves remained, and later nature performed a miracle and gave Sosua and the entire community one of the best beaches in the country.
