The entire area where Alicia beach is now was used by Jewish residents as a waste dump for an animal slaughterhouse that operated nearby. Then only the cliff of rocks and waves remained, and later nature performed a miracle and gave Sosua and the entire community one of the best beaches in the country.
It is a tourist closer to the locals and without as many buildings as the all-inclusive hotels in Punta Cana, here nature is almost virgin and all its surroundings are perfect to feel full and relax in a pleasant way.
